USFI, Inc. was incorporated in the state of California in 1998 as a joint venture company. The joint venture partners are, US Foods International LLC. incorporated in Southern California and Hyundai Department Store Group incorporated in Seoul, Korea.

The members of US Foods International have combined over 50 years of foodservice experience and over 40 years of logistic experience (ocean, air and ground transportation). This experience covers both the domestic and overseas markets.

Hyundai Department Store Co. Ltd. owns and operates 14 department stores, hotels and distributes foods, FF&V to its chain supermarkets in Korea. This has enabled USFI to become a strong work team to service USFK efficiently.

With combined experiences and efforts, USFI was designated as the best Prime Vendor in the pacific region in June of 2001 from DSCP (Defense Subsistence Center, Philadelphia).

We owe this to our staff of dedicated and loyal employees who possess a strong sense of responsibility both here in the U.S. and Korea. Most of our employees have served in the military and are fully aware of importance to provide quality subsistence to fellow soldiers in time of peace and war.
